David Guetta is a French DJ and producer who helped push electronic dance music into the pop mainstream. Born Pierre David Guetta on November 7, 1967, in Paris, he spent the 1980s and 1990s in clubs before becoming one of the world’s most successful DJs.
One Love
His 2009 album One Love brought his breakthrough, with “When Love Takes Over” featuring Kelly Rowland, “Sexy Chick” with Akon, and “Memories” with Kid Cudi. He also produced the Black Eyed Peas’ “I Gotta Feeling”.
Nothing but the Beat
The 2011 double album Nothing but the Beat was a collaboration showcase. “Titanium” with Sia became one of his signature tracks, alongside “Without You” with Usher, “Turn Me On” with Nicki Minaj, and “Sweat” with Snoop Dogg.
