A music quiz without the lyrics sheet
Every round hands you one of our own written clues: the year, the sound, the story or the video of a well-known song, never its actual words. Four titles sit under it and one is right. Answer all ten, watch your score build, and put your name on the board if the run deserves it.
Fair play, scored on the server
The correct answers never travel to your browser, so peeking at the page source earns nothing. Picks are graded on the server one at a time, and the leaderboard accepts a score only when it matches a run the server itself watched from start to finish.
Common questions
Are the clues real lyrics?
No. Each clue is a short description we wrote in-house. The site does not reproduce or store copyrighted lyrics.
How many questions are there?
The bank keeps growing and each round draws ten at random, so back-to-back games rarely repeat.
Why is there no audio clip on some questions?
Clips come from 30-second previews, and a few songs have none available. The round still counts the same.
Do I need an account for the leaderboard?
No. Finish a run, type any name, and the score files under it. Your best score also stays saved on your own device.
Can I skip a question?
Yes, every question carries a Skip button before you answer. A skipped round counts as a miss, so use it when a guess feels worse than a pass.
What do the audio clips play?
A 30-second preview of the song you were asked about, so you can hear the answer right after the reveal and replay it as often as you like.
Can I share my score?
Yes. The result screen has a share button that copies a short message with your score and a link, or opens your device’s share sheet on a phone.
Why did my score not reach the leaderboard?
The board only accepts a run the server graded from start to finish. Finishing too fast to be human, replaying old sessions, or submitting twice gets rejected.
Does the quiz work on a phone?
Yes. The rounds, the clips and the leaderboard all run in the mobile browser, with nothing to install.
